Philips introduces the 132-inch 3D WOWzone for a fascinating, high-impact 3D experience
CES Las Vegas, USA – Philips introduces the 3D WOWzone, a large 132-inch 3x3 multi-screen 3D display wall, designed to grab people’s attention with stunning 3D multimedia presentations. By creating breathtaking 3D experiences, marketing professionals can use this eye catcher to increase brand and product awareness in larger public spaces at events, exhibitions, reception areas and theme parks.
The out-of-screen 3D effects fascinate viewers and holds their attention for longer than standard 2D content, thereby making 3D a valuable marketing tool. No glasses are needed to view the Philips 3D WOWzone and it gives marketers an element of surprise that leaves their target audience with an amazing and entertaining 3D multimedia experience.
The 3D WOWzone consists of nine 42-inch Philips WOWvx 3D displays in a 3x3 multi-screen display set-up. The 3D WOWzone is a complete end-to-end system solution including 3D displays, mounting rig, media streamer computers, control software and dedicated 3D content creation tools. Thanks to its size and the immersive 3D effects of the multi-screen display, the viewer becomes part of the 3D experience; the viewer enters the WOWzone.
Now at CES, Philips introduces this high impact messaging tool into the media rich US market as a commercially available product. Earlier demonstration of the WOWzone at IFA 2007 in Berlin has resulted in interest of several A-brands and deployment of the 3D system solution at its first customers across Russia and Europe.
